The Discovery
Between the gym, the office and the trails, the performance socks we had always counted on simply stopped keeping up. So we took it on ourselves to find something better — and found the magic of alpaca fiber.
The Research
Two full years went into researching and testing where to source alpaca fiber, which type of fiber works best, and how to turn that fiber into performance socks you can rely on.
The Result
Today we deliver dependable performance socks made with our own alpaca fiber blend to adventurers all over the country, keeping feet dry and comfortable wherever they go.
WHAT BETTER REALLY MEANS

WHAT BETTER REALLY MEANS

Each alpaca fiber carries a semi-hollow core that works like built-in insulation, holding warm air close when the temperature drops and letting heat escape when it climbs.
Where synthetics tend to run hot and wool can feel stifling, alpaca adjusts to whatever is around you — ideal for unpredictable weather, long workdays or seasons in transition.
Alpaca fiber is light and breathable by nature, so it adjusts to any temperature and keeps you comfortable even when conditions turn harsh.
The fiber is naturally smooth and has a lower scale structure — none of the coarse, itchy feel that comes with wool.
It also carries no lanolin (the greasy coating found in sheep's wool), which makes it hypoallergenic and a good match for sensitive skin.
Alpaca pushes moisture away thanks to a low absorption rate — around 8%, against wool's 30% and cotton's 60%. Sweat is drawn off your feet and released into the air before it can soak in.
The outcome? Socks that stay drier, resist blisters and remain comfortable — on a rainy hike or across a 14+ hour shift.
Synthetic socks hold on to moisture and smell over time; alpaca fiber makes bacterial growth difficult, cutting off the main source of foot odor and keeping you fresher for longer.
